After  a few years of marriage and a popular television show, called the Sonny and Cher comedy hour, the two started to have some problems and separated in 1974 and then eventually the separation became final in June of 1975.  She later remarried and had a son in July of 1976. that marriage also failed after a few years. Cher went on to be one of the worlds greatest entertainers of all time. She is still the only entertainer who has received and Emmy award, Grammy award, Academy award, three Golden Globe awards and a Cannes film Festival award. Cher has spent her life in the spot light but she did not let fame change her true identity. She is widely known for her humanitarian work over the years. She has been involved with many different charities such as the Amfar Aids Benefit, Armenia, Children’s Chraniofacial Association and many more. Today she is still going strong, starring in movies, singing, entertaining and still setting an example for those who follow in her footsteps.
